Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of 86menus (the "Service"), operated by 86menus ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

You may use 86menus to create, edit, and export restaurant menus for your own personal or commercial purposes. You must not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@86menus.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the in-app billing portal; access continues until the end of the current period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

4. Free trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to the Service. At the end of the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial offer at any time.

5. Your content

You retain all ownership rights to the menu content you create using the Service. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We will not use your content for any other purpose.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects the Service. We are not liable for any losses arising from downtime.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 86menus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination by emailing hello@86menus.com.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
